Do you buy computers or computer components from the general public?Yes, we generally purchase working computers that are newer than 5 years and gaming class graphics cards, Motherboards, CPU's, etc...

Do you buy monitors and other peripherals from the general public?Unfortunately, we do not. Exceptions may be made for higher refresh rate gaming monitors or gaming peripherals.

Is Green PC Recycling R2 certified for its recycling services?No, we are not R2 certified. However, Green PC Recycling follows all the guidelines of R2V3. We have not applied for R2 certification due to its cost, but we adhere strictly to the recommended practices and use the same advanced tracking and management systems for traceability. We provide secure data destruction certificates and recycling certificates. Additionally, our client portal allows customers to access these certificates, ensuring full transparency and peace of mind for our IT asset disposition services.

What happens to the computers and electronics that I recycle at Green PC Recycling?At Green PC Recycling, we prioritize sustainability and extend the lifespan of your electronics. Many of the computers and electronics we receive are tested and refurbished to give them a second life. This means that functional parts are reused, reducing electronic waste and providing affordable tech options to the community. Electronic devices that are too old or beyond repair are shipped to an E-Cycle Washington preferred E-Waste processor to be broken down further into raw materials. This ensures that non-reusable electronics are properly handled and recycled in an environmentally responsible manner.

Do you accept broken TV's and other electronics that are not working?Yes, we do! We accept all TV's, working or not working, and any other electronics that are on our accepted item list.
